William Pomeroy: Born in amerika and a communist from the 1930s till his death, he married a HUK militant and participated in the armed struggle against the neo-colonial puppet government in the Philippines after the war. A political prisoner for years with his wife, he wrote both before and after his imprisonment some of the most important books written on the HUK movement.
