They've told us that the Executive Power is the First Power and that the Legislative Power, which was divided up by a bunch of crooks, fractioned off into "government" and "opposition"
is the Second Powerand that the prostituted (but ever Honorable) Supreme Court of Justice in the Third Power. The newspapers, radio, and TV of the rich have designated themselves the Fourth Power and of course march hand in hand with the first three powers. Now they tell us that the new wave youth is the Fifth Power. And they assure us that above all things and powers in the Great Power of God. "Now that all the powers are apportioned ―they tell us in a manner of finality― there's no power left for anyone else and if anybody thinks differently that's what the army and National Guard are for." Morals: 1) Capitalism is a big market of powers where only thieves do business and it's fatal to speak of the genuine owner of the real power: the people. 2) In order that the genuine owner of power has in his hands what belongs to him it will be necessary not simply to boot the thieves out of the Commercial Temple because they'd reorganize in the suburbs; on the contrary, the market has to be brought down on the heads of the merchants. |
